nature is precious. being out there makes us feel insignificant and small.
it creates a constant desire to come back and recharge. but it also seems
to be necessary to remind us we are part of a very fragile environment.
those who take a closer look will be rewarded.
finding hidden gems requires us to take some time to look closer and to go explore. obvious objects that immediately attract us only the pinnacles of the spaces in which we work and live - yet they give us orientation and the comfy feeling of being home.
however, our mind is so used to the common items that pave our paths that we likely overlook the beauty that lays beneath. by just varying some parameters in the time and spatial space, and by leaving the beaten path, we can rediscover our habitat, nature and urban spaces with surprisingly new views.
i am always on a hunt for interesting patters, shadow plays and unusual angles that set objects into an exciting perspective. i love to look beyond distracting elements and i truly believe this to be an exiting journey that helps to open our minds. finding unexpected beauty is my driver and i feel rewarded.
