the idea
the spaces we live in offer huge amounts of iconography, designs, surfaces, fonts and patterns that allow us to navigate through our surroundings to go to work, play or meet friends & family.
but do you appreciate all these patterns in your daily life?
this project is dedicated to drawing peoples‘ attention to those little elements we often don‘t recognise whilst wandering through urban spaces. they are the building blocks of our cities and fundamentals of the environment in which we live and work.
so here is “my“ material design study about Hamburg, the city where we work and live and where we hopefully feel home. our cities consist of letters, signs, patterns, nature, light and shadows, all those elements that allow us to navigate through the traffic and eventually arrive our destinations.
